ADAM'S ARTS REVIEWS

This report is about Cherish The Ladies.
It is a woman band. They play Irish music. They played with the Springfield Symphony at Hammons Hall on May 16, 2009. The Ballad Of The Fox Hunter was a song they sang. It was originally based on a poem by William Butler Yeats. He won a nobel prize. Donny Goldman is a Canadian, and he plays the fiddle and he dances. I loved the jig, and I wanted to hop up there and dance with him . I also loved it when Joannie Madden, the flute player, lifted the conductor Ron Spigelman.

The Buddy Holly Story- May 2, 2009 Performance Review

Springfield Little Theater presented Buddy Holly with Clayton Avery in the lead role. It was wonderful. Clayton Avery sounded like Buddy Holly. He was one of the first rock and roll stars. There were some other rock and roll dudes who played music with him. There was his band The Crickets, The Big Bopper, and Richie Valens who shakes his booty with pride. The action takes place in Lubbock, Texas; Clovis, New Mexico; New York; and Clear Lake, Iowa between January 1956 and February 1959. Buddy Holly was the first white performer to play at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. Buddy died in a plane crash with Richie and Big Bopper.
