'All The World's A Stage'......

June 23: After our book club's reading and discussion of The Shakespeare Stealer by Gary Blackwood, we enjoyed pursuing some dramatic activities including a tour of the Missouri State University theater production facilities.

Adam wrote about Shakespeare, The Globe Theater, and our tour:
"William Shakespeare is the most famous playwrite. Here are some of Shakepeare's plays: Twelfth Night, Midsummer Night's Dream, Taming of the Shre (which is the story of Kiss Me Kate), Hamlet (which is the same story in The Lion King), and many others. The Globe Theater had no bathroom. They had to go to the grass. It was an open top. There was bear fighting, fencing, and drinking.....The tour of the tent theater was great. I loved the costumes, sets, the sound and light and original director's booth. The girls' dressing room had most of the costumes that the costume department made."
